Inducted into the 2006 Hall of Fame, Dave Power won tennis letters in 1964, 1965 and 1966.  He won the Big Ten Doubles Championship in 1965 and was the runner up in singles.  He played on the 1964 Big Ten Championship Team, and was number one singles and doubles all three years at IU.

Power was ranked as high as No. 25 in singles in the United States, and in 1967 he paired with Will Coughlin to reach the semifinals in doubles at the Australian National Championships.

In 1966 he won the Balfour Awards.

So… What’s happening with Power today?

Power is currently the founder and owner of the Windward Tennis Academy, located in Alpharetta, Georgia.  You can check out more about it here:

Tennis revenues have grown tenfold and the Windward Tennis Academy has gained a national reputation.
