Roger Chandler, inducted into the 2008 Indiana University Hall of Fame, won wrestling letters in 1994, 1995, 1996 and 1997.  He was the IU-Male-Athlete of the year in 1997 as well as the Big Ten Champion that same year.  To say the least, ’97  was a major year for Chandler.  He also won the NCAA Championship.  Chandler set the IU record for both wins and pins.

So… where is he now?

Today, Chandler is in his 15th year as the Assistant Head Coach for wrestling at Michigan State University.

Chandler has helped produce nine different All-Americans and six Big Ten Champions for a total of 21 All-America selections.  He also has helped in receiving nine Big Ten individual titles during his time at Michigan State.

In addition to his work at Michigan State, Chandler also establishes the implementation of growing youth wrestling in the state of Michigan and throughout the United States.

Chandler finished his time at Indiana with a 134-25 record.  He graduated with a degree in sports management.
